Remembrance Sunday 2026 – Framwellgate Moor

Sunday 8 November 2026 | Lest We Forget

Framwellgate Moor Parish Council warmly invites residents and members of the wider community to join us for Remembrance Sunday on 8 November 2026, as we come together to remember and honour those who have served and sacrificed their lives in conflicts past and present.

The event provides an opportunity for our community to pay its respects and reflect on the sacrifices made by members of our Armed Forces.

Order of Events

• 10:20am – St Aidan’s Church Hall: Gathering ahead of the parade.

• 10:35am – Front Street: Remembrance Sunday parade.

• 10:50am – Memorial Garden: Service of remembrance.

Temporary Road Closure

To ensure the safety of everyone attending, Front Street will be temporarily closed between 10:20am and 11:10am.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank residents and motorists for their patience and understanding.

Everyone is Welcome

We encourage residents, families and members of the community to come together for this important occasion.

Whether attending the parade or joining us at the Memorial Garden, your presence is warmly welcomed as we remember those who gave so much for the freedoms we enjoy today.

We Will Remember Them.
