- From Monday July 19, the Government will remove the majority of restrictions in relation to the CovId pandemic. Durham County Council want to make sure you can all get back to the things you love. Ensuring you have had both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine is the best way to do this while also protecting yourself, family and your community from the virus.
- Help protect the things we love. As the restrictions are lifted you can continue to protect yourself and others from the virus by getting your COVID-19 vaccine.
- From 19 July, it is expected and recommended that people wear face coverings in crowded areas and we would encourage you to do so in our cultural and leisure venues as well as on public transport.
- As restrictions are lifted we are encouraging everyone to do regular lateral flow tests even when no symptoms are present to help protect yourself, your family and your community. Remember you still must self-isolate if you have symptoms, book a PCR test and continue to self-isolate until you receive your result.
“The Post Office mobile van, offering Post Office and Royal Mail services, will continue to be at Framwellgate Community Centre, Front Street, car park until the national Covid-19 restrictions are resolved.
