A Neighbourhood Plan for Framwellgate Moor Parish Council?
The Parish Spring Newsletter should be delivered to every household in the parish before the end of May.
The newsletter contains and announcement about our plan to consult all electors on their views about having a Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan – to be followed up by a consutation exercise. The Neighbourhood Plan, if you decide that we should produce one, will be an important and far reaching initiative for the parish and for all who live in the parish.
Maintenance Works in the Pavilion Building 2018
As part of an ongoing programme of refurbishment of this building, there are plans to install a new roof and also to make minor structural changes to the front of the pavilion – work is planned to start in September 2018 subject to funding.
As part of our overarching plan we are looking to upgrade the bowling green, the Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and the lighting in and around, and leading to the pavilion
Works with the Probation Service
The Council has an excellent relationship with the Probation Service and in addition to helping us with the infrastructure works for the Christmas Tree. There are further plans to conduct regular litter picking forays around the parish area. Councillor Peter Dawson has applied to take part in the Great Plastic Litterpick and is awaiting details and resources from Keep britain Tidy.
